What to Expect

It’s never easy visiting a church for the first time. Because of this, we want to be as helpful as we can to make your experience a good one. So here is a glimpse into a typical Sunday morning at BFBC to help you feel more comfortable on your visit.

When you pull into the church parking lot, feel free to park in any of our reserved guest parking spots in front of the sanctuary. If you walk in through the main front doors, you will be welcomed by one of our many greeters who will be more that happy to assist you in any way. Drop off your children in the nursery if needed, or you can let your older kids participate in children’s church during the main service.

Each Sunday we offer two expressions of worship – our Sanctuary Worship Service held on the North Campus and Worship on the South Campus held in the McMillan Center. A service typically begins with a time of singing led by our worship leader, choir, and/or praise team. We often have scripture reading and a moment of prayer, followed by a message from our pastor Dr. Mark Wilbanks or other pastoral staff member.

After the service, our pastor and his wife gather in the front foyer and would love an opportunity to meet you. If you would like more information on how to get connected at BFBC, don’t leave without grabbing some visitor information from the foyer. We would love to hear from you and see you again. Anything we can do to help, let us know!
