Interim Steering Committee Affirmed
The Interim Steering Committee (ISC) was affirmed by our church last week in conference. Please pray for this strategic committee as they begin their work.

Responsibilities
- To work with and provide assistance to the church staff as requested on a day-to-day basis and to serve as a liaison with the CLC (Church Leadership Council) and Deacons.
- To assist in laying the groundwork for the Pastor Search Committee relative to their priorities for the church, their hopes and expectations for our future, and the possible development of a pastor profile based on information from church members, to assist the Search Committee in the process. It will do all it can to encourage full church participation in the process and keep them well informed.
- To the extent possible, to do that which is necessary to make sure the Search Committee can focus all of its time and attention on finding God’s man for BFBC.
- To be part of the process to provide frequent updates to the church on what is taking place in the pastor search effort.
- To identify a candidate to serve as Interim Preacher and then, along with the CLC and Deacons, recommend said candidate to the church family.
- To do whatever else is requested of it by the CLC, Deacons, staff and church family to insure a smooth period of transition.
