Our Core Values
The strategy that shapes our church life is based upon certain non-negotiables…principles that help define who we are and what we do.
People matter to God; therefore, they must matter to God’s people.
The Mission of the Church: Evangelism – And seeing the multitudes, Jesus felt compassion for them, because they were distressed, downcast, and harassed like sheep without a shepherd. (Matthew 9:36)
Every person needs an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and with His Body, the Church.
The Membership of the Church: Fellowship – You are a member of God’s own family … and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian. (Ephesians 2:19)
The life of the believer is one of transformation and growth.
The Maturity of the Church: Discipleship – For my determined purpose is that I may know Him, that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His person more strongly and more clearly. (Philippians 3:10)
Every member is a minister.
The Ministry of the Church: Love in action – Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other; let us really show it by our actions. (1 John 3:18)
Worship is our greatest responsibility and our highest privilege.
The Magnification of the Church: Worship – O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together…O taste and see that the Lord is good; how blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him. (Psalm 34:1-9)
